The scope of this information

Pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (hereinafter "Regulation"), this page describes the methods used in processing personal data of users who visit the Enic-Naric website, accessible on the Internet at the following address: www.enic-naric.net
This information does not apply to other sites, pages or online services accessible via hypertext links published on the site but referring to resources outside the Enic-Naric website domain.

Organisation in charge of data processing

After visiting our site, data relating to individuals who have been identified or who are identifiable may be processed.
The organisation in charge of processing is CIMEA Association, located at Viale XXI Aprile, 36, post code 00162, Rome, Italy.

The data protection officer

The Data Protection Officer (“DPO”) can be reached at the following address: CIMEA Association – Data Protection Officer, e-mail: rpd@cimea.it.

Legal basis of processing

The personal data of users of the Enic-Naric website is processed by the CIMEA Association for the proper management of the site, as well as in fulfillment of obligations arising from the law, regulations, community legislation and international treaties signed to promote academic mobility in all its forms and promote the principles of the Lisbon Recognition Convention on the recognition of qualifications.

Types of data processed and the reasons for processing

Navigation data
The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this site acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.

This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of computers and terminals used by users, recorded addresses in URI/URL (Uniform Resource Identifier/Locator) of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the file size obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (complete, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the operating system and the user's computer environment.
Such data, necessary to use web functions, is also processed to obtain statistical information on the use of services (most-visited pages, number of visitors daily/hourly, geographical location etc.).

Navigation data is not held for more than seven days and is immediately cancelled after its collection (except for certain necessary checks for illegal activity on the part of the police authorities).
The website may use so-called social media plug-ins, tools that permit the use of social network functionality directly inside the website (the Twitter “Like” function, for example).
All the social plug-ins inside the site are flagged with the respective copyright logos of the social network platforms (Google, Twitter and LinkedIn, for example).
When you visit a page of our site and interact with the plug-in (e.g. by clicking the "Like" button), the corresponding information is transmitted from the browser directly to the social network platform which proceeds to memorize it.

For information on the purposes, type and methods of collection, processing, use and storage of personal data by the social network platform, as well as for the ways in which to exercise your rights, please consult the privacy policy adopted by each individual social network.

Data communicated by the user
The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of messages to each Enic-Naric centre contact address, indicated by each centre, results in the collection of the sender's contact data, necessary to reply and provide information, as well as that of all personal data included in communications, including any attached documents.

Cookies and other tracking systems
No cookies are used to profile users, nor are other tracking methods employed.
On the other hand, session cookies (not permanent) are used in a way that is strictly limited to what is necessary for the safe and efficient browsing of the sites. The storage of session cookies in terminals or browsers is under the control of the user, as, on the servers, at the end of the HTTP sessions, information relating to cookies remains recorded in the service logs, with storage times no longer than seven days, however, as for the other navigation data.

Recipients of the data

The recipients of the data collected following the consultation of our site are the following organisations appointed by the CIMEA Association, pursuant to Article 28 of the Regulation, as data processing representatives: Marlex s.r.l. and Yperesia s.n.c. di Andrea Zordan & c. are linked to our website as suppliers of web platform development and maintenance services. The personal data collected is also processed by the staff of the CIMEA Association, which acts on the basis of specific instructions given to carry out the methods and achieve the aims of the processing itself, and may be communicated to institutions and authorities, both national and international, for the verification of qualifications in order to give replies to requests for information sent by users of their own free will.

Rights of the interested parties

The interested parties have the right to receive from the CIMEA Association, where provided for, access to personal data and the correction or cancellation of the same or the limitation of processing that concerns them or to object to processing (Articles 15 and following of the Regulation). A specific request to the CIMEA Association can be presented by contacting the Data Protection Officer at the offices of our Association (CIMEA Association – Data Protection Officer, Viale XXI Aprile, 36 post code 00162, Rome, email: rpd@cimea.it).

Interested parties who believe that the processing of personal data referring to them through this site is in violation of the provisions of the Regulation have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority by following the procedure indicated on the website of said Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it/web/guest/home_en ), as foreseen by art. 77 of the Regulation itself, or to contact the appropriate judicial bodies, pursuant to art. 79 of the Regulation.
